Dr. Stratos Keranidis is the Co-Founder and CEO of DOMX, shaping the company’s strategy, product roadmap, and long-term growth. With a PhD focused on wireless systems and early IoT architectures, he brings more than fifteen years of experience in designing advanced digital technologies for real-world building environments.
Before founding DOMX, he worked as a Research Associate at the University of Thessaly and CERTH, contributing to high-impact European projects and publishing extensively in leading journals and conferences. His background spans resource allocation algorithms, IoT platform design, and large-scale experimentation infrastructures.
At DOMX, he oversees all R&D activities, leading also the company’s participation in EU-funded projects as Principal Investigator. He drives the creation of cost-effective energy management solutions that upgrade legacy building systems into intelligent, sustainable infrastructures. Stratos also guides cross-functional engineering teams and steers the design of new services that address the growing demand for energy efficiency, operational savings, and digital transformation in buildings.

Dr. Giannis Kazdaridis is the Co-Founder and Lead Hardware Engineer of DOMX, leading the design, development, and production of the company’s hardware solutions. With a PhD in ultra-low-power wireless sensing, he specializes in creating reliable, high-performance devices that bring intelligent energy insights to any building.
Throughout his research career at the University of Thessaly and CERTH, he contributed to numerous landmark EU projects, designing over fifty wireless sensing prototypes deployed in demanding industrial and research settings. His extensive hands-on experience covers circuit design, embedded systems, prototyping, and full-scale hardware fabrication processes.
At DOMX, Giannis defines the company’s hardware innovation roadmap and ensures that each product meets the highest standards of performance, cost-efficiency, and interoperability. He also serves as Principal Investigator in more than ten EU research projects, driving advancements in energy optimization technologies. His long-term collaboration with the founding team underpins DOMX’s strong engineering culture and continuous pursuit of robust, sustainable solutions.

Polychronis Symeonidis is the Co-Founder and Lead Software Engineer of DOMX, directing the development of the company’s applications, digital services, and cloud IoT platform. He oversees DOMX’s software team and ensures that every product delivers seamless user experience, operational reliability, and measurable energy savings.

With a strong background in IoT platforms, embedded systems, and wireless sensor networks, he has contributed to several EU-funded research projects and authored multiple publications in the field. His early experience as a Research Associate at the University of Thessaly helped shape his expertise in designing efficient, scalable digital infrastructures.

Before DOMX, Polychronis worked in Munich as a Full-Stack IoT Engineer, further expanding his knowledge in smart device ecosystems. Today, he leads the architecture and development of DOMX’s software solutions, from intuitive mobile applications to advanced energy services. His long-standing collaboration with the founding team reinforces DOMX’s ability to deliver mature, innovative, and future-proof technologies.

Dimitrios Voulgarakis is a Full-Stack Software Engineer at DOMX, contributing to the evolution of the company’s web applications, internal tools, and cloud-based services. His background includes extensive experience in desktop and web application development, gained during his time at Semitron S.A.

At DOMX, Dimitrios designs and implements new features, optimizes system performance, and strengthens the reliability of the digital ecosystem that supports DOMX’s energy management and monitoring solutions. Kiriakos Naiskes is a Full-Stack Developer at DOMX, focusing on enhancing the company’s web-based applications and building new features that streamline daily operations for clients and partners. With a background in computer science and practical experience in modern web technologies, he contributes to both user-facing interfaces and backend services.
His work includes API development, feature delivery, system troubleshooting, and improvements to the DOMX cloud platform. Kiriakos ensures that digital tools remain fast, intuitive, and reliable, supporting the company’s mission to bring advanced energy management solutions to a broader market.

Georgios Kalogeropoulos is a Mobile Applications Engineer at DOMX, responsible for designing and developing high-quality mobile apps that connect users with DOMX’s IoT and energy management services. With academic roots at Saarland University and ongoing PhD research at the University of Innsbruck, he brings deep expertise in machine learning, optimization, and scientific computing.
Viktor develops the predictive intelligence behind DOMX’s next-generation control algorithms, enabling buildings to adapt dynamically to environmental conditions while reducing energy waste. His work transforms raw data into actionable insights, supporting smarter, more sustainable operations.

Ellie Efstathiou is a Front-end Engineer at DOMX, specializing in UI/UX design and the development of intuitive user interfaces across web and mobile platforms. She holds a Bachelor’s degree (2015) and a Master’s degree (2017) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Thessaly, Greece.
Between 2014 and 2019, she worked as a researcher and software developer at the University of Thessaly, contributing also to several European research projects. During this period, she built strong expertise in mobile-web applications, IoT platforms, and user-centered interface design for complex digital systems.
Since joining DOMX in 2019, Ellie has been responsible for the UI/UX design of the company’s products, translating complex energy and IoT data into clear, accessible, and visually consistent user experiences. Her work ensures that DOMX products are accessible, reliable, and aligned with modern usability standards, contributing directly to a seamless user experience across the company’s energy management solutions.

Katerina Sideri is the Sales Representative of DOMX, bringing over fifteen years of cross-industry experience in customer relations, commercial operations, and business development. She serves as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring that each customer receives the right solution for their operational and energy efficiency needs.
Katerina manages ongoing communication with partners and prospects, coordinates product demonstrations, and supports the adoption of DOMX technologies across diverse building environments. Her customer-focused approach and market awareness play a crucial role in the company’s expansion and long-term partnerships.

Apostolis Giovanitsas is a Support Specialist at DOMX, ensuring that customers receive fast, reliable assistance across all products and services. With a background in Computer Networks from IEK Delta 360, he brings strong expertise in troubleshooting, system configuration, and technical operations.
Apostolis joined DOMX through an internship, quickly proving his capability in understanding the company’s IoT platform, hardware devices, and cloud services. He now supports field deployments, diagnostics, and issue resolution, ensuring smooth operation of energy management systems.
He also contributes to internal testing, documentation, and installation workflows, playing an essential role in maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction.
